Nordic Knots is a Scandinavian design brand founded in 2016, built on the belief that thoughtful, timeless textiles are the foundation of a harmonious home. Blending function and aesthetics, the brand creates contemporary rugs and textiles designed to last beyond seasons and trends.
As a Junior Designer – Rugs & Textiles, I worked closely with the design and production teams to support the research, development, and execution of collections from concept to final product. My role spanned design development, technical production, and visual presentation — ensuring every piece met Nordic Knots’ aesthetic, quality, and craftsmanship standards.
Within the design team, I contributed to the creative and technical development of rugs and textiles across multiple collections. My work focused on pattern, color, and material development, translating concepts into detailed CADs, technical drawings, and production-ready artwork. I created 2D and 3D visualizations for internal reviews and launches, supported trend research and material sourcing, and assisted with quality and color control throughout the development process.
I collaborated with suppliers and internal teams, supported timeline coordination, prepared design presentations, and worked closely with production to ensure each design was executed with precision, consistency, and feasibility.
I bring a strong technical and creative foundation to textile design, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and CAD software for developing detailed concepts, technical drawings, and production-ready artwork. I have a solid understanding of textiles, materials, and construction, paired with a structured and organized approach to managing multiple projects and deadlines.
I work with clarity and precision, value strong communication and collaboration, and approach each project with curiosity, attention to detail, and a hands-on problem-solving mindset.
